OK, I've reinstalled python xml tools from scratch (distutils,
pyxml0.5.5.1, bisongen and 4suite0.9rc1) in that order. Things went far
better than the previous time (no errors with UTF-8, I guess my machine
was quite messy), but I still had to establish a netwaork
connection. Maybe there's a dtd that's fetched with an URL on the net
somewhere in the install procedure? I guess things will go better when
installing from an RPM package.
