Summary: variable probs when reusing stylesheet

Initial Comment:
Per a message from Wade Leftwich on June 30, 
self.savedvariables in PopVariablesNode may 
sometimes be an empty list, causing the pop() in the 
instantiate method to fail. He reproduces the problem 
when re-using a large stylesheet.
