[4suite] Mac Install failed on 4sutie

I just tried and failed to install 4suite on my new mac with python2.5.

I believe to install 4suite correctly you must

su username
{enter password}
"sudo python setup.py install".

simply doing

su username
{enter password)
python setup.py

does not work


Perhaps the installer error message and README could be more verbose?
