I hadn't really given a thought to continuing the 1.0 vector, to be
honest.

I guess my feel on it is that Versa is really nice, but with a lot of
usage, there are a few things that you just really start to want, and
since there was such a long hiatus in the formal spec writing, I figured
we could just shoot for an even better target. In that case the version
bump would me more to avoid confusion than anything else, because I get
the sense that we might break backwards compatibility of syntax, and
there since are so many examples of the current syntax out there right
now.

But if 1.0 really is that close to meeting real needs right now (yours,
for example), I'm up for looking that way.

However, I do think it's worth discussing all ideas, and we can see
which ones naturally fall in line for 1.0, and which for 2.0.

Sure. We dropped rdfinference.org once it became obvious that we
weren't taking a different direction from the original RIL (and I just
cleaned up the mailing list misnomer). I'll try to look for a good,
open domain for versa. .org or .net shoudl do, right? Personally I
still haven't got around to giving as much weight to .info, though
perhaps those are just my blinders.

Side note: very glad to have your brain in on this effort.
