Finally got around to adding a CVS repo for Versa. It contains the 0.4
version of the spec as well as the 0.5 proposed version with some of
the proposed changes in it (mostly the stuff for literal).
Its checked into fourthought private CVS for now, we will need to
decide if this should go on public CVS. I vote yes.
I'd like this to become the source for Versa.bgen and Versa.doc so some
4Suite builds will probably need to be updated.
There is a pretty big TODO list which I'll mention some here.
First is a better build script. Currently "build.sh" builds the site
from scratch in "build" directory. index.html is the start. As the
site grows it will be nice to have dependency checking. distutils and
ant come to mind.
Once you see the first page, the next TODO item becomes apparent. Make
the site look better. All of the XSLT I wrote is more focused on
getting data to the screen, next I'll (or someone else can) make it
look nicer, organize info better, etc.
Next major TODO item is to get a URL for the site, once that is done
there are a lot of URI references in the docs that need to be updated.
I know namespaces and constants don't need to mean any thing, but I've
always found it nice if you go to "
http://rdfinference.org/versa/sort/ascending." and there is a
definition....
Lastly, and this is what I'll be working on next, is to go through all
of the email to date and update the issues list. Once this is dome
I'll be starting a Java implementation and building the test cases/
attempting to resolve issues as I go.
Cheers.
Mike
