Maybe it will help accelerate things by naming names :-)
I don't know everyone in this group as well as I should, but based on what I
do know, people that occur to me that would be also good as co-managers of the
project.
David Rosenborg
David Carlisle
Eric van der Vlist
This list is based on what I've seen of:
* Knowledge of XPath and related technologies
* Existing effort and participation in other XPath improvement projects
* Implementation work
* Community visibility and thus ability to offer strong advocacy
Does this look like a good brief of the right qualities for an XPath NG
manager?
Does anyone have any comments about the names I mentioned based on these
criteria?
Is anyone I named not interested in being a co-manager, or is anyone I didn't
mention interested in being co-manager?
I know this sort of thing is an uncomfortable exercise. We're all very smart
and hard-working people, and we all like to think of ourselves as modest.
However, I think this is an important project and we should get things in
place so it can move along swiftly and surely. I think that sorting out basic
strucxture is important, so I implore everyone to put forth their thoughts on
how we do so.
Thanks.
