Somewhat tangential to this whole thread...
While I appreciate the openess of the xpath-ng discussions (unlike certain other
organizations), I'm having trouble keeping up with all discussed ideas.
I'd just like to request discussions on the list itself should be considered
non-normative and a real spec document should be prepared, eventually, and
put out for bona-fide public review (unlike certain other organizations)
which actually has a true chance of being altered after review publication.
Not everyone has time to follow and contribute to the design discussions on
an hourly basis, but we still have vested interests in review and suggesting
changes to whatever specification you draw up.
So, I guess I'm asking if you aim to have a truly open, and open-for-radical
changes, public review of the candidate spec, whenever you draw it up?
